My advice before and after your tattoo

Mes conseils avant et après ton tatouage

Getting a tattoo is a unique experience. A dialogue between your body, your mind, and my art.
To ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible (before, during and after), here's what you really need to know.

Before the tattoo

Properly prepared skin is essential. A clean, precise tattoo and rapid healing cannot be improvised.

Start a course of my gummies ideally one month before your session.
They strengthen your skin and optimize healing. Didn't have time? Start on the day of the procedure — it's always better than nothing.

Moisturize the area to be tattooed during the week beforehand. Nourished skin is more cooperative skin: the lines are smoother, the result is sharper.

Prepare your body.
Sleep, eat, drink. Nothing revolutionary, but believe me: a well-rested body copes better and remains more stable.

For women, avoid the menstrual period. The body is already busy elsewhere — no need to add to it.
And if you are sick, postpone: your immune system will thank you.

Avoid sun exposure on the area before the session. Heated skin reacts poorly, heals less effectively, and the pain is increased.
SPF 50 sunscreen is mandatory if you are going to be exposed to the sun.

No alcohol or blood-thinning medication the day before and on the day of the appointment. Blood that is too thin means ink that bleeds through, slow healing… and a tattoo artist who sighs.

Outfit: comfortable, black, cotton. Ink stains don't come out. And no, nobody tattoos better just because you're wearing your favorite jeans.

During the session

Bring something to drink and snack on. Hypoglycemia can happen faster than you think — a little sugar and everything will be fine.

Your music is your ally. Because, between us, tattoo artists' musical tastes are… variable.

If you smoke, do it before your workout. Repeated breaks disrupt your rhythm, close your pores, and make resuming much less enjoyable. And yes, I speak from experience.

After the tattoo

Now your role begins. A well-maintained tattoo is a tattoo that stays beautiful for a lifetime.

For the first few days, opt for loose-fitting, black, cotton clothing.
Synthetic fabrics and friction are the worst enemies of your fresh ink.

Allows the skin to breathe for 24 to 48 hours, without cream.
Gently cleanse with our no-rinse foam , then dry gently.

After 48 hours, switch to our Protect Your Art balm .
A thin layer, two to three times a day, on clean skin.
No need to use tons of it — the skin needs to be nourished, not suffocated.

No bathing, swimming, sports, or sunbathing for three weeks.
Yes, it's a long process. But your tattoo deserves better than heatstroke or questionable water.

A tattoo is a work of art.
It's up to you to protect it, and up to me to enhance it.
